Green Sanctuary
The Green Sanctuary Committee was formed in October of 2010. Our goal is to facilitate the accreditation of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Bennington to become a Green Sanctuary through the Unitarian Universalist Ministry for Earth (an affiliation of the Unitarian Universalist Association). This process requires the UUFB to meet certain standards and guidelines for being an ally in the struggle to combat global warming. Our Seventh Principal asks us to promote and affirm "respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part." The Committee meets monthly and welcomes all. For more information you can contact Andrea Evey, Committee Chair, at abartonartist@yahoo.com.
